Inspiration

The story begins on a spinning globe. A symbol of shared humanity, knowledge, and cultural memory. As the camera gently descends from the vastness of the world to California, and then seamlessly transitions into a drone’s-eye view of the Getty campus, the scale shifts from global impact to hands-on dedication. What starts as something expansive and universal narrows into something intimate and intentional: the workbench, the craft, the people. Staff waving grounds the concept in warmth and humanity; reminding us that behind world-class research and preservation are real individuals stewarding history with care. This concept visually reinforces the idea that global influence begins with focused, thoughtful work. Moving from the world to the workbench, from vision to action.

Design Solution

The design solution used cinematic scale and intentional motion to visually communicate connection, impact, and human-centered purpose. By beginning with a stylized spinning globe, the sequence established global reach and institutional significance. The smooth geographic zoom into California and then into the Getty campus created narrative continuity through seamless transitions and controlled pacing. The drone footage introduced authenticity and warmth, grounding the concept in real people and place. Motion graphics, subtle typography overlays, and refined color grading unified the sequence, ensuring brand cohesion while maintaining emotional resonance.
