Design easy-to-use interfaces that frame the historical images and videos from the Marcus Garvey Museum archives. The exhibit project included the complete re-design of interior space by the Art On The Loose, Inc. team with many multimedia interactive touchscreen displays designed and developed by dezineomni. The interactive’s communicate a solid message to the visitor. The strong message of positive Self-Identity and that natural features such as skin color, facial features, and hair are inherently beautiful. "Black is beautiful." Many interactive touchscreen displays with key historical facts about Marcus Garvey and his followers, the Garveyites, are placed strategically throughout the exhibit space. dezineomni's role included working with fragile historical images, newspaper clippings, Restoration and digitalization of footage, video production of narratives, and a multitude of other visual components designed and placed to communicate and celebrate the positive successes of Marcus Garvey and the Garveyites.
